Android 16 is arriving faster than usual and has already reached the stability milestone of the platform with Beta 3. Xiaomi is addressing the early train with the launch of its prior viewing program of Android 16 developer 16 for two phones.
The Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 14T Pro are the chosen test subjects. The first was launched with Android 15, while the second originally executed Android 14, so this is its second important update. The other update method passes through Fastboot and requires having an unlocked starter, so the local update method is preferable. Keep in mind that this will delete your data, so first backed up.
